Q. Do you judge a book by it's cover?
A. I am gonna be honest and say yes, I do. I tend to notice the cover first while searching through books. If the cover is pretty or eye catching, then I immediately go and look at the description. If the description doesn't interest me, then I won't even worry about how pretty the cover is. The only times that I don't judge a book by it's cover is when I have heard fantastic things about the book or if it is by an author that I really love to read.

It's true that if the cover's pretty but the summary isn't too great, the cover itself isn't enough to make me take out the book.

I 100% agree with you. A pretty cover will get me to read the summary and look up reviews. But I won't buy a book just because it's pretty.

I agree. I've made the mistake of buying a book that I was only slightly interested in because it had a beautiful cover and was disappointed, so I don't anymore.

Agreed! A nice cover definitely catches my eye but the storyline needs to be good. If I haven't read a bad covered book before I do really need to rely on the good opinion of another person. New Follower!
